Our Honduras coffee pays tribute to one of the most well-preserved Catholic Cathedrals in the country. While The St. Michael the Archangel Cathedral was built during Colonial Times, it is an important aspect of life for those in Honduras still today.

An important aspect of the actual coffee we are bringing to you is that it is SHG (Strictly High Grown) specifies that the coffee was grown at an altitude around 1350 meters. Coffee grown at a higher altitude and lower temperature produces a slower maturing fruit and a denser bean; which creates a more desirable specialty cup. These beans have been carefully tended to through European Preparation (EP), which means  that the raw beans are all hand sorted to remove any defective beans and foreign material.

We note flavors of caramel, spice and brown sugar. This is a Founder Favorite among our Single Origin offerings.
